We’re Published! Activating Fluxus, Expanding Conservation Is Out Now
We’re excited to share that Activating Fluxus, Expanding Conservation, edited by Hanna B. Hölling, Aga Wielocha, and Josephine Ellis, is now published open access and freely available to read online. The book is a major outcome of our multi-year research project, and the first to focus specifically on the care and preservation of Fluxus works.

FLUXUS.GRAM: Call for contributions
As a part of our project’s “grand finale,” taking place in part at HKB Bern and Cabaret Voltaire Zurich, we invite artists, students and the simply curious to engage with Fluxus-inspired scores: to interpret, activate, or reinvent them.

Alison Knowles (1933 – 2025)
It is with great sadness that our team learned of the passing of Alison Knowles, artist, poet, and one of the most luminous figures of Fluxus. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit continues to resonate — in her works and in all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Psst.. psssst.. Our book is coming together!
After years of research, profound discussions with many actors in Fluxus, and months of careful editing, our volume Activating Fluxus, Expanding Conservation is finally taking shape. As the first book to address the conservation of Fluxus, it brings together artists, scholars, and conservators in a shared reflection on its material legacies.
