On February 28, 2026, the event and exhibition at Cabaret Voltaire marked the artistic culmination of the SNSF research project Activating Fluxus and the conclusion of the three-day Fluxus Fête—a celebration of Fluxus’ radical, playful and transformative spirit.
On view was a curated selection of Fluxus scores from FLUXUS.GRAM, spanning both historical Fluxus texts and contemporary contributions created in the spirit of Fluxus and gathered over the preceding months. The program unfolded in three parts: it opened with live score activations featuring special guests and audience participation—sometimes guided by the artists themselves, sometimes shaped by the spontaneous involvement of those present. This was followed by talks by Ann Noël, Ken Friedman and Nicholas Schärer, in which a dedicated program segment reflected on historical Fluxus positions and their most recent resonances and successor projects. The event concluded with an open stage of surprise guests and experiments, inviting further interventions, actions, and unexpected moments. The afternoon was moderated by Johannes M. Hedinger and Basile Mudry.
